And yet more music trade show and festival news! The legendary In The City music convention, which takes place annually in Manchester, UK, is coming to New York this summer. In The City Of New York looks set to be chock full of all of the great bands and music industry debate that makes the Manchester convention a can't miss event on the music industry calendar. In the City is the brain child of Tony "Factory Records" Wilson , and each event is carefully put together by Wilson himself. Wilson knows a great band when he hears one, and he's always ahead of the curve on the issues facing the music industry, so you can rest assured that you get a lot of bang for your buck when you shell out for an In The City delegate pass. Of course, In The City is a great place to network, pick up some useful advice, and simply meet other people who do what you do, but beyond all that, In The City is just plain old fun to attend. The indie music industry in particular would be hard pressed to find a more hospitable convention.
