No, really, it's not a trick question. If you have Lollapalooza dreams, this year's Last Band Standing contest is for you. Here's how it works - you add your music to the Lollapalooza website, users check out the bands and vote for their favorites, and then the top 100 bands from that crop move through to a second round, in which "expert panelists" narrow things down to one lucky band. That group will a gig at Lollapalooza, $1,000 for travel, hotel accommodation, artists passes to the show, guest lists places for friends and lots more.
Want to get in on the action? You have to submit your music via Sonicbids by June 22 - but the time to get started is now, because voting starts on May 19.
