It's time to get your applications ready for one of my favorite music industry events, In The City. Founded by the late, great Tony Wilson of Factory Records fame, In The City takes place in Manchester, UK, and manages to be both informative AND fun. Good debate, good panels and good gigs - yeah, I like it.
If you want to get in on the action and get your music seen in Manchester this year, visit the In The City application page. UK artists should apply directly to the festival team via the website and international artists should apply via Sonicbids. If you are not a Sonicbids member, follow the link from the In The City site for a free two week trial. Sonicbids applicants will also be considered for a grant of up to $1,000 to cover travel costs.
In The City will take place October 13 - 15. The deadline for applications is August 6.
