Got a gig coming up? The only surefire way to make sure it all works out is to have all hands on deck from the start. That means that even if a promoter is essentially holding the reins, you need to do everything you can to help them help you. Dropping the ball on sending over some artwork, not putting the show on your social networking sites - these are just a few things that can make promoting your show harder than it has to be, which can translate into a bad turnout and a lack of future bookings. Not good.
