You know how important live shows are to launching a music career, but how do you know you're ready to take the stage for the first time? While it's crucial that you don't languish for too long playing live for an audience of you in your bedroom music venue, it's also pretty crucial that you don't go around booking shows you're not ready to play yet. You'll get yourself into hot water with the promoters, not to mention cause yourself a lot of stress, if you, say, book an hour long set and only have two songs. Is it time for you to hit the live circuit in earnest? Consider these signs you're ready to play your first music show.
