Longbox

By Heather McDonald, About.com

Definition:

A longbox is a cardboard box - usually long and shallow, without a top, but sometimes shorter and deeper, with a lid, that holds 25 CDs (though it can hold more if the CDs are in jewel cases). Record stores, distributors and labels often talk in terms of longboxes, or sometimes, boxes, when ordering CDs - as in, "send me one box," meaning send me 25 CDs.
