I play the piano, guitar and dabbled in some drums. I also write my own songs I'd say my music is soul/acoustic/neo-soul/R&B but I like to try out new things all the time. some influences: Erykah Badu, maxwell, Lauryn Hill, Solange, Musiq Soulchild, K'naan, Tracy Chapman, Jill Scott, floetry etc

How Do You Promote Your Music?
I've only just got into all this stuff as I'm rubbish with internet stuff but I set up my myspace to promote my music just tryign to e-mail people who seem like they can help...I do buskign which was never meant to be used as a promotional tool but I have to say its helped once or twice. I also do any open mic nights I can and other free gigs around. I uploaded some youtube vids as well.
Do You Release Your Own Music? Do You Want a Deal?
I haven't released my own music not really sure on how to do this stuff I'm slowly just learning now getting help from lovely people who want to share the love. A deal would be great. Right now I'm just searching around and building up contacts till I can get a clear picture of what I should be doing and how I can do some DIY releases but its all early days
Tips and Tricks
- If you ever want to find out if people do like your music or which people like your music ..or just want to get over stage fright I'd say busking is one of the ebst things I've ever done..I always have fun and it gives me so much confidence.
- Free gigs.. just hound every bar and venue you know and ask to play anyday anywhere
