What Do You Cover on Your Blog?
As stated above, we are reviewing the top 50 albums of the decade. But we also like to share and review music in general! Raivynn has a radio show and like to post what she plays on the radio. Topics we've covered include music and politics, music and vampires, Converse (yes, the shoes), tips for music lovers and lots of other stuff that's related to music... well, most of the time.
How Did You Start Your Blog
We started the blog after examining Rolling Stone's list. Some of the albums we agreed belonged on the list, others we agreed did not. Many we had never heard of! So we sought out to have some fun with the list, our music taste and the world by starting the blog. Also, we wanted to make a blog for the common man (or woman, or child, or Viking, or very intelligent monkey) that covered a range of musical genres (this blog ain't just rock and pop).
We promote through the net, and just through word of mouth. We're up to almost 2,000 hits since starting, so we're not doing to shabby.
Advice
- Have fun with your blog; music is a joy in our lives. Embrace it!
