How Did You Break into Live Music?
I interned for a production agency in my area during my high school career and have tried my best to work my way up in the music industry. I have a lot of experience in managing bands and artists, booking shows and tours, working with money and expenses and, promoting bands and shows.
Advice
- The job is never over, and when you think it is, that's when you fail. You always have to be on your toes and moving forward.
- Treat every situation like an opportunity to further your career, i.e. phone calls, shows, meetings ect.
- Breathe. If you're feeling stressed out take a moment and breathe. Its not worth getting worked up over.
- Have fun.
