How Did You Build Your Company?

The idea came from a love of web design, internet marketing and playing good music. Combined i and a few close professional friends started Autonomous Industry not only to help other bands with web site creation, band marketing but to help ourselves keep on top of future promotional ideas and what we already knew.

After the website was created, a slow social campaign began as to not force feed it down anyones throats. Onpage SEO has always been an ongoing process with new content and OFFPage SEO has begun to help us find new organic visitors.

We will be taking the website to the physical market end of 2010.

Tell Us About Your Service

Autonomous Industry is a music marketing resource for bands and musicians to help them with their self promoting strategies. We help bands increase their fan base through digital and physical strategies, all of which are FREE.

Firstly, the guide covers website creation and management.

Included in this section;

* Managing your files and website with FTP, File Transfer Protocol.

* Hosting companies and web hosting set up instructions.

* Domain names, where to register and how to sync with your seperate hosting. If you cant afford a web designer we show you free open source software to control and style your site.

After web sites we begin to look at the other tools you can utilize. As we have mentioned. content management systems are included in the tools available for bands.

As well as;

* Social networking

* Video hosting

* Email services

* Crowd sourcing services for new material(album) funding

* Digital music aggregators and services to not only host your music and save your bandwidth costs but promote it through their website with the help of search forms and the mass of people who use these services.

We don’t stop there, as some once said “A plan that can not be measured is destined for failure”. These words may be hard hitting but we had the foresight to include any possible routines you can involve, from analytics on your website to online public relations. We know our guide is beneficial to your project in some way. It’s not the answer, but we are working on the little things first.

The current guide has a whopping 74 pages of information, step-by-step tutorials, supported by 600+ high res images and general music marketing tips.

So where is this marketing stuff then?

We have 21 pages of online and offline/physical marketing tips, ideas and tutorials.
