How Did You Build Your Company?
As a drummer/percussionist, I lived in Nashville, TN for a number of year and had the opportunity to tour and record professionally with many amazing and world-class musicians. Now based in my hometown in Virginia, I recently put together my own home project studio to offer online drum tracks through remote collaboration. My idea came from being inspired by other recording musicians and home recording enthusiasts to learn more from each other and disrupt the myth that you can only create great music by booking time in a traditional studio or music city.

My home studio was created to be able to offer custom online drum tracks via remote recording and collaboration. This service is available to any recording musician - specifically, songwriters and fellow home studio owners. In addition, my hope and goal for the site and blog is to offer tips and resources as well as guest blogs from other recording musicians and home studio owners. The sole purpose is to learn from each other and create better music.
Advice
- My advice for any musician and songwriter is to set up your home studio. The cost of equipment and gear has gone down dramatically in the past several years. I'm convinced that there are an unbelievable amount of talented musicians in the world that simply are not recording their music and/or are not capturing the true creativity of their music due to expensive studio rates, etc..
