Cayan started rapping when he first discovered his love for wordplay as a young man. Growing up in North East DC he was influenced by traditional DC sounds of gogo, and live music. From a young age he learned to seamlessly weave his lyrics into the rhythmic fabric of any beat. As his natural talent develops, so does his vocabulary and lyrical prowess. These days, as a college student, Cayan is forever perfecting his craft. His live show is heralded by hip hop aficionados as dynamically official and live! Newly signed to EF Music Group, Cayan is expressing himself through music all can relate to.
Alison Carney is an experienced vocalist whose natural born ability to create sound, is a gift to us all. Born and raised in Washington DC, her sound transcends any categorization of how music is defined. Her live performance can be described as pleasantly energetic and astonishingly chill. With a firm understanding of how sound effects emotion, the structure around her songwriting is structureless. Thus, she presents herself to all in natural form, the result is honest music.
Classically trained, Alison has written and performed on two studio albums in addition to touring in Asia. Collaborations with other artists and producers range far and wide, some of which include: Dwele, Slum Village and Raheem Devaughn, Phife/Tribe Called Quest, Mr. Turner, J.Laine, DJ RoddyRod, Judah, and TFox. As the newest member of EF Music Group, Alison's new lifestyle exudes endless opportunity.
