- Hi, I would just like to say I'm all for releasing music in any way shape or form, but a down side to self releasing your stuff is that it takes alot of work. I personally have been in many bands, and when we put our stuff out there, not many people hear about us because we had to do everything ourselves. Advertise, record, write, play, provide a recording spot, it really just gets exhausting. I understand that it takes work to make it big, but if you were on a label, it would make things alot easier. I love making music and I hope to pursue this dream of mine.

self releases
- For me my self releasewd CDs have been an excelllent business card and nice added income on some shows that will confirm why you make music in the first place. i.e. to communicate your musical emotions and actually to be able to receive communication, appreciation and most importantly joy through the whole process. Many times for me the most meaningful VCD sale is the one where a couple is enchanted and wants to take home a memory or impression of the special evening they have just experiencd.
