Limebooth.com
- Limebooth is a social network entirely dedicated to musicians. It's like youtube but without the clutter, and is filled with great musicians. Being part of this community lets you easily share you content and get constructive feedback. I'm able to communicate easily with musicians from across the globe and even collaborate with them. Unlike youtube, where your videos get buried underneath videos from cats, they try to get your videos in front of everyone who might like it or has the same skills as you have. In short, Limebooth is a very great community to share your music, get feedback, share your thoughts or start a conversation with like minde people. You can even buy, review and preview gear as well as manager you own gear list. Pretty awesome site!

Soundclick.com
- Pros: Unlimited band sign up to one single account. This is something I've not seen anywhere else, and is important to me, I have 15 active musical projects right now, I'm not making 15 different e-mails. Also, all the bands can be quickly and easily administrated from any page your on (via a drop down menu that allows you to select a different band to edit). Virtually limitless amount of songs you can upload. Also, it has the ability to add a tab to your Facebook band page (and the set up is really easy for that). Cons: The down side is they strip a lot of characters, even harmless ones. Songs can't have quotation marks in their titles, even the regular page has "≥" stripped from it, which is in one of my song titles. Also, ridiculous limits on song and album title characters, and censoring of any word that might even half way be offensive, which you can't change. You can only add members of a band to the list if they have an account - major lame.

Musicians On Tour
- Musiciansontour.com is the only music site any musician will ever need to navigate their music careers.....big or small. A marketplace to post and a directory to find as well as medium to showcase who you are and what you bring to the music scene!!! Worth every second spent on this site. Plan a tour and have them help you fund it....Awesome...

BumpItorDumpIt.com
- I like going to different music sites, each having something different I like. I came across a fairly new site called BumpItorDumpIt.com. The site is in beta but they are allowing new members to sign up and use the site wile they continue to develop it. I have to say their concept is amazing and they have artists and bands from all over the world signing up; I listened to a metal band from Indonesia the other day that blow my mind. Compared to some of the other sites out there they still need to add a bunch of features they don't have yet but it's definitive worth checking out and watching to see where it go's.

musiclunge.com
- without a doubt the most promising site I have seen is http://www.musiclunge.com. Think facebook, myspace, skype, and reverbnation all rolled into one! They offer video chat file sharing and more. Chat with industry professionals and indie labels. The best part is it's FREE.

Band Social Space
- You should check out this really cool site for Bands & Fans that is launching at this year's SXSW! It is called Bandromeda.com and it looks like it is really taking off. The big draw with them over other sites like ReverbNation is that they not only allow you to build your own presence but they will actually customize your own website using the same content (videos, photos, music, merch, etc) that you create on their site! If you look at their Band Solutions page you can see examples. And they have this really cool service where they will take some of your still photos and one of your songs and create a sick video from them. Bandromeda looks to me like MySpace on steroids!

PitchMyStuff is a new hype!?
- I keep being posted about this new online company called PitchMyStuff, so, me being the curious type decided to check it out. They haven't gone live yet (as of the date of this posting) but they have been causing some real hype with my friends and other artists. So, I went on their profiles they currently use to write about themselves and get this hype going which was Twitter and MySpace (you’ll find them called PitchMyStuff) Now, they seem to be, and say this themselves I will add, that they are a combination of ‘all the best out there but with a little more’ By this what I have read is that they offer artists, bands, songwriter etc a profile like Facebook but for the 'musically inclined', while also offering the services ReverbNation do, info and how to pages for the artist and venues etc and other services such as CD printing etc and the network of fans that MySpace does. To me that sounded great, all the features in one place, perfect. But like I said earlier, they haven’t

TalentWatch.net
- I joined talentwatch about 9 months ago. It's the best site out there! Since it's new it's still under the radar. It gives every artist an equal chance to rise to the top. My friends love the site because it's set up to entertain music fans. Very cool.

soundcloud
- soundcloud lets you upload up to 2hours of music in any format for free. it is easy to use and is very well thought out.you can send and recieve tracks with anyone, and you even get your own url for your page and each individual track. it can be linked to other networking sites like facebook etc as a player window and lets people know when youve posted new material.many online-radio sites select tracks from soundcloud.you dont even have to be clued up on genres to find the music your looking for...i often describe the sound i want i.e fuzzy gritty squelchy pumping and usually it will find something i like. you can also explore artists in your hometown or listen to latest songs uploaded. i love it

NuMuBu.com
- Since the major social networks are well known, I feel its important to share thoughts useful, lesser known entities. I like what NuMuBu has created with their B2B network and concurrent customer service. I have been a member for 3 weeks and have found a lead guitar for my band and got a great deal an engineer to mix our recent recordings. I had questions regarding their revenue-sharing for members and they responded immediately and gave me insight as to how I can get a bigger piece of their pie. All in all, from their responses with me, I would say that it seems like they really care about the Music Industry and its current problems. I'm sold on NuMuBu.com.
