Press releases are hard work! You've got to strike that right balance between sounding enthusiastic enough to make people excited about hearing the music without sounding so over the top that you come off like you're selling a used car. When you're writing a press release about yourself, it's even harder. One thing that helps is seeing some press releases others have written. So - do you have a press release to share? Post it here! Need to some check out some press releases before you pen yours? Check out the ones here - and come back and share your masterpiece when you're done!

The African Alphabet

An 'adult friendly' kids CD No purple dinosaurs were used in the making of this CD! Picture an African village deep in a valley. Hear sounds of ululation drifting through the hills. Now move to the vibrant city streets of bustling Soweto, children laughing, taxis hooting, dogs barking and from down the street the jazzy sounds of a township saxophone. Next we are taking a ride through the African bushveld, with wild animals all around us, and the ancient cry of Impi warriors echoing through the plains. This is the authentic African collage found on the unique African Alphabet CD The African Alphabet CD contains 13 fun sing-along songs for kids of all ages. The songs are an A to Z of things African and are composed in vibrant African styles ranging from Afro-Jazz, Afro-fusion, Afro-pop, to more traditional sounds and a whole lot more! SlitCell Step it Up A Notch

Since making their debut live appearance at the original Big Fat Summer Bash, taking to the stage of Liverpool O2 Academy 2 (then Carling Academy 2) to open the show in August 2007, SlitCell have only made one other appearance (Big Fat Summer Bash 2.0, Carling Academy 2, August 2008) in favour of spending extraordinary amounts of time honing their musical abilities. Now though, they're ready to explode onto the local metal scene with a headline show at Liverpool Barfly and the release of their debut EP 'As Light Fades'. The EP, featuring nineteen minutes of mayhem including 'As Light Fades', 'Serpents', 'Empty Words' and the much anticipated 'War Hawks', will be available for sale digitally on Monday 20th April. In support of the release, the band are to perform at the Liverpool Barfly on Friday 17th April with special guests Arcane Demise, Atera & Asmodai. It promises to be a night to remember, with the EP for sale three days early, exclusively at the show.
